Digital Bucket

Voiced by Polly

In the past we’ve blogged about Digital Bucket, which is a great app for storing files in Amazon S3.

I’m mentioning them again because they’ve added all sorts of new features. If you are a Windows user, I think you’ll find this to be intuitive and seamless! A few of new goodies are as follows:

  1. New User Interface
The new UI is just like working in Windows Explorer!
  2. New Advanced Uploader
You are able to select multiple files and monitor individual upload progress. You can even add, remove, and stop files during the upload.
  3. URL upload
You can specify a HTTP url or anonymous FTP uri and digitalbucket.net will upload the file to your account.
  4. New Publishing features
Password protection and expiration of the published folders are now supported.
  5. Mash ups
Picnik – Edit photos online in your browser.
Auto Desk Freewheel View CAD files online in your browser.
  6. API
The Application Programming Interface allows developers to create custom applications on top of digitalbucket.net platform.
  7. Sub Accounts
Sub Accounts also support customized privileges
