Desktop and Application Streaming
Automate management of Amazon WorkSpaces and Amazon AppStream 2.0
Automating key processes is essential to managing Amazon WorkSpaces and Amazon AppStream 2.0 effectively at scale. Proper use of automation leads to efficiency and productivity improvements. Attend this hands-on builders’ session to learn how to use scripts and other workflows to manage WorkSpaces and Amazon AppStream 2.0 at scale. Use this knowledge to overcome common challenges often associated with automation.
Bring your laptop and join me at this interactive builders’ session where you will use tools such as the EUC Toolkit, AWS CLI and APIs to automate the management of Amazon WorkSpaces and Amazon AppStream 2.0
You will start with a provisioned AWS Directory Service for Microsoft Active Directory, an AppStream 2.0 fleet and stack, and an Amazon WorkSpace. You’ll use the AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI) with Windows PowerShell to issue API commands to monitor and alter the WorkSpaces and AppStream fleets.
Furthermore, you will learn how to utilize the EUC Toolkit to reduce self-managed VDI operational overhead. You will use the toolkit to view information on provisioned WorkSpaces and AppStream 2.0 fleets such as user details, IP addresses, and hostnames. You will also learn how to perform advanced support operations such as Remote Desktop and Remote Assistance.
