Mathias Mezger is a Distinguished Engineer for Enterprise DevOps IBM Z in the Micro Focus Application Modernization & Connectivity product group. Mathias has punched the first COBOL statement in 1980, working in various industries on IBM mainframes before joining Micro Focus in 1994. In his career with Micro Focus Mathias helped IBM mainframe customers to modernize their development environments as well as lift and shift mainframe applications and workload to Linux, Unix and Windows platforms. His focus today is on helping mainframe customers transform and implement agile software development practices for IBM z as part of DevOps CI/CD pipelines in the Cloud.
