New ebook: Download “The Utility Executive’s Guide to Cloud Security”

At AWS, we’re frequently looking for ways to improve the customer experience. Based on needs shared in conversations with power and utility customers, today we released a new ebook: The Utility Executive’s Guide to Cloud Security. This new ebook guide follows our January 2020 release of the AWS User Guide to Support Compliance with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Standards.   

The new executive guide is designed as a quick reference document with links for utility CIOs and chief information security officers (CISOs) who are using or considering use of AWS services. It includes information on the AWS shared responsibility model and customer transformation stories from the power and utilities industry. The guide also provides an overview of AWS security services spanning identity and access management, threat detection, infrastructure protection, data protection, incident response, and compliance.
