Spring 2020 SOC 2 Type I Privacy report now available

We continue to be customer focused in addressing privacy requirements, enabling you to be confident in how your content is protected while using Amazon Web Services. Our latest SOC2 Type 1 Privacy report is now available to demonstrate our privacy compliance commitments to you.

Our spring 2020 SOC 2 Type I Privacy report provides you with a third-party attestation of systems (services) and the suitability of the design of our privacy controls. The SOC 2 Privacy Trust Principle, developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), establishes the criteria for evaluating controls related to how personal information is collected, used, retained, disclosed, and disposed to meet the entity’s objectives. Additional information supporting our SOC2 Type1 report can be found in our Privacy Notice and Customer Agreement documentation.

The scope of our privacy report includes information about how we handle the content that you upload to AWS and how it is protected in all of the services and locations that are in scope for the latest AWS SOC reports. You can download the latest SOC 2 Type I Privacy report through AWS Artifact in the AWS Management Console.

As always, we value your feedback and questions. Please feel free to reach out to the team through the Contact Us page. If you have feedback about this post, submit comments in the Comments section below.
