Announcing the Berlin AWS Pop-up Loft: Coming October 14th

Yesterday we announced that for four weeks this fall the AWS Pop-up Loft, a community co-working space and developer hangout, is coming to Berlin!

What Is the Berlin AWS Pop-up Loft All About?

The Berlin AWS Pop-up Loft is a community space designed to provide technical resources to help you scale and grow your business. You’ll be able to access a wide range of features and activities, including hands-on bootcamps and labs, and 1:1 sessions with AWS Solutions Architects. Or you can just hang out, co-work, and network with other startups.

Location: Near Berlin Stadtmitte Station

The Loft is located on the 5th floor of Krausenstrasse 38 in Berlin, close to Stadtmitte Station and convenient to Spittelmarkt.

Opening Party & Hours of Operation

On October 14th we’ll host a grand opening party at 7PM. The Loft will then open for business the morning of October 15 and will be open Monday — Friday, from 10AM to 6PM, with special events on the evenings. The Pop-up Loft’s last day of operation will be November 13th.

Ask an Architect

You can drop in to the Loft and step up to the Ask an Architect Bar. You’ll want to bring your code, questions, and architecture diagrams as you’ll receive no-cost, 1:1 guidance on AWS architecture, usage of specific AWS services and features, cost optimization, and more from an AWS Solutions Architect.

AWS Technical Sessions

AWS Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Evangelists will be leading 60-minute educational sessions designed to help you to learn more about specific AWS services and use cases. You can attend these sessions to learn about Mobile & Gaming, Databases, Big Data, Compute & Networking, Architecture, Operations, Security, and more, all at no charge.

Startup-Focused Sessions

In addition to technical sessions, Berlin-based incubators & accelerators, startup scene influencers, and hot AWS-powered startup customers will lead talks where they’ll share best-practices, entrepreneurial know-how, and lessons learned. Join us for topics such as The Art of Pitching, Customer Validation & Profiling, and PR for Startups.

The Intel Perspective

AWS and Intel share a passion for innovation and a history of helping startups succeed. Intel will bring their newest technologies to Berlin, with talks and training that focus on the Internet of Things and the latest Intel Xeon processors.
