This is a cooperative contract that allows customers access to technical capabilities that run in cloud environments and meet the NIST Essential Characteristics. The three cloud categories awarded are Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as a Service. Every public agency, public institution of higher education, public school, and other public entity authorized under state statute with an approved participating addendum may use contracts under this award. Once a Participating Addendum is signed with a state or an individual entity, customers may begin to place orders with an awarded vendor for AWS Services. All orders, pursuant to the agreement, at a minimum, shall include:
- The Services or supplies being delivered
- The place and requested time of delivery
- A billing address
- The name, phone number, and address of the Purchasing Entity representative
- The price per unit or other pricing elements consistent with the agreement
- A ceiling amount of the order for the services being ordered
- The Master Agreement identifier and the Participating State contract identifier
Purchase orders should be sent directly to an awarded vendor for fulfillment. Should there be any additional documents needed to process the order, the awarded vendor will contact the customer to request them.
