    • AI/ML

While it’s clear that machine learning has become an essential and integral part of modern business transformation, many organisations still struggle to understand where to apply ML for maximum impact. Selecting the right machine learning use case is critical and requires you to consider several factors.

Learn how AWS can enable diverse ML use cases and accelerate your organisation’s machine learning journey to achieve faster, more efficient productionalisation and measurable results while allowing it to maintain the right balance between optimal business value and speed to market.

Transforming businesses with AI & ML

Machine learning (ML) powered intelligent search with Amazon Kendra

      Level: 200 | Intermediate

Data lives everywhere, scattered across many systems and content repositories. Even if you manage to consolidate all these information silos to build a single index for search, you are still confined by the limitations of keyword search tools.

Such solutions require users to convert a question into the best possible keyword combination, which creates friction in the user experience.

In this session, we discuss how Amazon Kendra seamlessly combines previously siloed data sources into a single source of truth, while allowing users to pose natural language questions instead of keyword combinations, to retrieve search results faster and more accurately.

      Speaker:
Praveen Jayakumar, Head of AI/ML Architect Team, India, AISPL

CrowdStrike & AWS: Embedded security for the cloud lifecycle [Sponsored session by CrowdStrike]

      Level: 200 | Intermediate

Cloud adoption and moving to a cloud-first strategy has resulted in increased risk to businesses. Many security teams are challenged with poor visibility and control of cloud resources, fragmented approaches to detecting and preventing misconfigurations, ineffective protection for cloud workloads and containers, and the inability to not only shift security left, but shift threat response left. With deep support and technical integrations with AWS, CrowdStrike’s blueprint for AWS security includes controls and threat detection across the life cycle.

Building on our core tenets of adversary-focused protection and DevOps ready security, we’ll show you how embedded agent and agentless security combines to provide the highest level of security and assurance possible for AWS.

Data has become the game-changer leading to a scenario where farmers are “growing data” along with the regular crops. New data-centric business models such as carbon farming and data market-place are becoming mainstream.

The revolutionary TCS DNA™ platform has taken this to the next level by leveraging the convergence of patent-protected “Sky-Earth” technologies while effectively harnessing the power of mobility and the AWS cloud. This has resulted in highly scalable and affordable AI & ML driven interventions, without sacrificing the accuracy of prediction.

      Level: 100 | Introductory

With the increase in scale of data and operations on a data warehouse (DWH), apart from the built-in recommendations from Amazon Redshift, customers execute use case or workload priority queries like performance of the clusters including system tables, operational metrics like long running queries, percentage tables with compound or interleaved leys, and files copy by slice count. Grafana Labs in collaboration with the Amazon Managed Grafana team created the Amazon Redshift data source plugin for Grafana.

In this session, we show you how we’ve taken the solution further by creating a customer centric, consolidated, and continuously curated health-check dashboard.

Demo in 10 - Build content moderation pipeline using AI services from AWS

      Level: 100 | Introductory

The daily volume of user generated content (UGC) and third-party content has been increasing substantially on social media, social gaming, online forums, dating and matrimonial, and photo-sharing platforms. Customers also need to review audio, image, video, and text content to ensure that their end users are not exposed to potentially inappropriate or offensive material, such as profanity, violence, drug use, adult products, nudity, or disturbing content.

In addition, media companies may be required to ensure that the broadcast and on-demand audio and video content they create or license carry appropriate ratings as per compliance guidelines for various geographies and target audiences.

In this session, learn how to use AWS AI services (Amazon Rekognition, Amazon Transcribe, and Amazon Comprehend) to streamline and automate your image and video moderation workflows. Also, get to know how to use fully managed image, video, text, and speech moderation APIs and automated machine learning to proactively detect inappropriate, unwanted, or offensive content at scale. This helps you protect the reputation of yours and your partners’ brands.
