Health measures
The health and safety of our customers, partners and employees remains our top priority. At the AWS Summit San Francisco 2022, the following health measures will be in place. All attendees are required to comply with the health measures. Signage and additional staffing will be in place to support health measures. Revisions will be made in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and federal, state, and local government requirements.
Vaccinations
All badge holders must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to checking in at the event. Fully vaccinated is defined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as 2 weeks after a second dose in a 2-dose series such as the Pfizer, Moderna, or AstraZeneca vaccines or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
Record of COVID-19 vaccination must be provided at onsite check-in to receive your Summit badge. Acceptable records include your physical COVID-19 vaccination/immunization card, a photo of your vaccination/immunization card, or a digital verification from a smartphone application. The name on your vaccination record must match your government issued ID.

Do you require those attending the Summit to be vaccinated against COVID-19?
Yes. All attendees will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend the Summit in-person this year.
What date do I need to be vaccinated by to attend the Summit?
Fully vaccinated is defined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as 2 weeks after a second dose in a 2-dose series such as the Pfizer, Moderna, or AstraZeneca vaccines or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine. If you plan to check in on the first day of the Summit badge pickup is April 20, 2022, you need to receive your second dose in a 2-dose series or single-dose vaccine no later than April 6, 2022.
How do I verify my COVID-19 vaccination to attend the Summit?
Can I attend with proof of a negative COVID-19 test instead of proof of vaccination against COVID-19?

Yes. We will accept record of COVID-19 vaccinations authorized or approved by the national health authority of the country where it was administered.

What happens if I (or someone else) tests positive for COVID-19 following the Summit?
If you test positive for COVID-19, please follow guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for testing, isolation, masking, distancing, and seeking medical guidance. Please also report your diagnosis to the relevant public health department, more information can be found on San Francisco Department of Public Health. If a positive COVID-19 diagnosis is disclosed to AWS during the AWS Summit San Francisco, we will suspend your in-person participation in the event.
