Amazon WorkDocs Activity Feed Now Allows Administrators to Track Actions in Their WorkDocs Site

Posted on: Sep 14, 2017

The Amazon WorkDocs Activity Feed now allows administrators to track actions on their Amazon WorkDocs site in near real time. This makes it easy for administrators to review file and user activities for legal, regulatory, compliance, or internal inquiries.

To view the activity feed for your Amazon WorkDocs site, open the web client, select the filter option in your Activity Feed, and enable ‘Site-wide activity’. You can track commenting, sharing, file updates, and file and folder changes. You can also see who made changes, and when. You can search by file, folder, or user name, and apply filters to narrow your results.

This feature is available today in all AWS Regions where Amazon WorkDocs is available. To start your 30 day trial of Amazon WorkDocs, log in to the Amazon WorkDocs console and create your first WorkDocs site.
