AWS Systems Manager now allows filtering automation executions by applications or environments

Posted on: Oct 20, 2020

You can now filter automation executions by resource groups in Systems Manager Automation. This allows you to group and view the automation executions specific to your applications or environments.

Systems Manager Automation enables you to author runbooks to execute common IT tasks, such as building Amazon Machine Images (AMIs), at scale with rate controls. AWS Resource Groups helps you organize your resources into groups so you can monitor, manage and act on the resources as a unit. With this new feature, in addition to being able to filter automation executions based on attributes such as document name, execution status, start time and tag keys, you can also filter by specifying a resource group.

This feature is available in all AWS Regions where AWS Systems Manager is offered. For more information about Automation, visit the Systems Manager product page and Systems Manager Automation documentation
