amazon connect integration
HERE Location Suite
Location intelligence, including mapping, geocoding, routing, traffic, transit, positioning, and geovisualization
This Quick Start integrates HERE Location Suite with Amazon Connect to provide location intelligence in Amazon Connect. The integration includes a set of AWS Lambda functions that Amazon Connect uses to interact with HERE Location Suite REST APIs.
HERE Location Suite provides access to mapping, geocoding, places, routing, traffic, transit, positioning, and geovisualization functionality and out-of-the-box solutions to solve complex location problems such as geofencing, calculating the toll costs for a route, and customizing a route.
This Quick Start was developed by HERE Technologies in collaboration with AWS.
HERE Technologies is an APN Partner.
To add HERE Location Suite to Amazon Connect:
|Step 1||Sign up for an AWS account, if you don't already have one.
Getting an account will automatically sign you up for Amazon Connect and all other AWS services.
|Step 2||Create a new Amazon Connect instance for the integration, or use an existing instance.
Write down the Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the instance.
|Step 3||Sign up for a HERE account to get an app ID and app code.
|Step 4||Deploy the integration, using one of these links:
- Option 1: Deploy HERE Location Suite - All (includes geocoding, places, and routing)
- Option 2: Deploy HERE Location Suite - Geocoding
- Option 3: Deploy HERE Location Suite - Places
- Option 4: Deploy HERE Location Suite - Routing
Complete the parameter fields to specify your HERE app ID, HERE app code, AWS account ID, and the ARN for your Amazon Connect instance. Deployment takes just a few minutes. Amazon Connect integrations are currently supported in the US East (N. Virginia) Region only.
|Step 5||For more information on integrating Lambda functions for geocode, places, and routing/ETA into your contact flow, see the HERE website.
