AWS Resilience Hub pricing
Pricing Overview
AWS Resilience Hub is designed to help you continuously assess and strengthen the resilience posture of your most important workloads.
With AWS Resilience Hub, you pay only for what you use and there are no upfront costs, but pricing will depend on the version of Resilience Hub you are using.
AWS Resilience Hub
Existing Pricing Model
Customers who continue using the original Resilience Hub can try AWS Resilience Hub free for 6 months, for their first 3 applications. After that, the AWS Resilience Hub price is $15.00 per application per month. Billing for an application begins once the first resilience assessment is run, and stops when the service is removed from Resilience Hub.
Next generation of AWS Resilience Hub
New Pricing Model
Customers who want the expanded capabilities of the next generation of Resilience Hub (launched on May 28, 2026), are charged based on three factors: the number of services created in Resilience Hub, the number of failure mode assessments run, and whether dependency discovery assessment is enabled. Billing begins once the service is created in Resilience Hub and stops when the service is removed from Resilience Hub.

- Application: a logical group of AWS resources that you define to operate as a unit. You can describe an application in AWS Resilience Hub using 3 different methodologies:
- Resource collections, which include AWS CloudFormation Stacks, AWS Service Catalog AppRegistry, AWS Resource Groups, and Terraform state files. Each collection supports cross-region and cross-account resources.
- Kubernetes workloads that are managed on Amazon EKS.
- Applications that use both resource collections and Amazon EKS clusters.

Key Pricing Terms and Definitions
- Service: a logical group of AWS resources that you define to operate as a unit. You can describe a service in AWS Resilience Hub using 3 different methodologies:
- AWS CloudFormation Stacks, resource tags, and Terraform state files. Each collection supports cross-region and cross-account resources.
- Kubernetes workloads that are managed on Amazon EKS.
- Services that use both resource collections and Amazon EKS clusters.
- Creating a service in Resilience Hub: Onboarding an existing AWS workload into Resilience Hub so that its resilience posture can be assessed, monitored, and improved — done by defining your service’s structure and resources within the AWS console. Resource count is available after the service is created.
- Deleting a service from Resilience Hub: Removing the service listing from the Resilience hub to no longer monitor the resilience posture of your service
- Running failure mode assessment: A GenAI-driven assessment engine conducts an on-demand resilience evaluation of your service across five critical failure modes (i.e., Single Points of Failure, Excessive Load, Excessive Latency, Misconfiguration, and Shared Fate)

Service
Creating a service in AWS Resilience Hub is $15 per service per month and includes two failure mode assessments for services with 150 or fewer resources. Additional resources over 150 are charged $0.10 during each failure mode assessment.Additional failure mode assessments (beyond the 2 included) are billed at $0.10 per assessed resource. There is a minimum of 50 resources billed for each additional failure mode assessment.
Automated dependency assessment
Automated Dependency Assessment is available as an optional add-on for $10 per service per month.
Pricing Examples
Example 1:
You create 10 services in Resilience Hub and elect to run two failure mode assessments each month. All 10 of your services have fewer than 150 resources
- A monthly charge of $15 is billed for each of the 10 services and includes the first 2 failure mode assessments ($15 x 10 services = $150)
Example 2:
You create 10 services in Resilience Hub, and each one has 25 resources. You elect to run 4 failure mode assessments for each service in a month.
- A monthly charge of $15 is billed for each of the 10 services and includes the first 2 failure mode assessments ($15 x 10 services = $150)
- Each of the 10 services runs a 3rd and 4th failure mode assessment at a cost of $0.10 per resource (minimum of 50) per assessment (10 services x 50 resources x 2 extra assessments x $0.10 = $100)
Example 3:
You create 1 service in Resilience Hub that has exactly 100 resources. You elect to run 2 failure mode assessments each month. You also elect to deploy the Automated Dependency Assessment on each service.
- A monthly charge of $15 is billed for the 1 service and includes the first 2 failure mode assessments ($15 x 1 service = $15)
- The 1 service opts into the Automated Dependency Assessments (1 service x $10 per month = $10)
