Starting today, AWS CloudTrail’s event history will automatically log all read and write management events for supported AWS services. Event history lets you view, filter, and download your recent AWS account activity. This new release allows you to gain additional visibility into your account actions taken over the past 90 days without setting up a trail.
You can now use event history to view all management events for any AWS service that integrates with CloudTrail. In addition to viewing create, update, and delete events, you can now view read events such as list and describe.
You can continue to configure trails to log data events, which are currently not included in event history, or to retain a history of events greater than 90 days.
AWS CloudTrail Event history is available in multiple regions. Please visit the AWS CloudTrail documentation for more information.
