Posted on: Aug 27, 2019

You can now use AWS Resource Access Manager (RAM) in the AWS GovCloud (US-East) Region, an AWS Region designed to host sensitive data and regulated workloads in the cloud for customers who have U.S. federal, state, and local government compliance requirements.

AWS Resource Access Manager (RAM) provides you a simple way to securely share your AWS resources across AWS accounts or within your AWS organization. You can now centrally create resources in a multi-account environment, and use AWS RAM to share those resources across your accounts. This reduces operational overhead while maintaining the benefits of a multi-account strategy. At this time you can use AWS RAM to share Amazon VPC subnets and transit gateways in AWS GovCloud (US-East) Region, eliminating the need for you to create duplicate resources in each of your accounts and drives down costs.
