Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose now supports AWS PrivateLink in the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions

Posted on: Mar 11, 2020

You can now use Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose through AWS PrivateLink in the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. AWS PrivateLink allows you to privately access services hosted on AWS in a highly available and scalable manner, without using public IPs and without requiring the traffic to traverse the internet. Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose APIs are now available to use inside your VPC through AWS PrivateLink in the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions.

Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose is the easiest way to load streaming data into data stores and analytics tools. You can capture, transform, and load streaming data into Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Elasticsearch Service, and Splunk, enabling near real-time analytics with existing business intelligence tools you are already using today.

Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose is available in all commercial Regions, China Regions, and AWS GovCloud (US). For more information about this feature, visit documentation.
