AWS IoT SiteWise now supports AWS CloudFormation
AWS IoT SiteWise now supports AWS CloudFormation, enabling customers to create and manage SiteWise Asset Models, Assets and Gateway resources using CloudFormation.
Customers can now author CloudFormation templates to automate creation and management of SiteWise resources for data ingestion and asset modeling, without having to manually provision them through the console or write custom scripts. Customers can also reuse these templates across accounts and regions to ensure consistency. AWS CloudFormation support for SiteWise Monitor resources is not available at this time.
