Next-Generation Personal Assistant
Alexa+ is more conversational, smarter, personalized—built with AWS AI
Alexa innovation
Customers can interact with Alexa+ to control their smart home products, make reservations, and order delivery. With bold sound, crystal-clear pictures, and intuitive personalization, Echo devices are the ultimate way to experience Alexa.
Agentic personal assistant
Customers can control their smart home products, make reservations and order delivery using the convenience of voice, whether speaking to the new Alexa at home, on their phone, or in their car.
Sensors and signals
Omnisense sensor fusion platform is designed to bring together a wide range of sensors and signals to enable smarter, more personalized, and proactive Alexa+ experiences. Alexa+ can learn patterns of the home such as starting a morning routine when Alexa recognizes a specific person or a proactive alert that your garage door is unlocked after 10 p.m.
Connected to even more services
Alexa+ is now integrated into smart speakers, TVs, and in-car experiences from companies like Bose, Sonos, LG, Samsung, and BMW. The growing list of AI capabilities bring even better experiences from well-known brands like TaskRabbit, Fandango, Priceline, Uber, Lyft, and GrubHub into the customers' lives through Alexa+.
Built with AWS
AWS enables the foundation of Alexa’s state-of-the-art architecture
AI Services
Alexa+ routes a customer request to the right specialized model or AI service that is best suited to the task. Amazon Bedrock provides the capabilities to deploy and orchestrate agents, access to leading models - like Amazon Nova and Anthropic Claude, and tools for fine-tuning and safeguarding. This gives Alexa teams everything they need to quickly move from experimentation to real-world deployment and bring magical Alexa+ experiences to customers.
Compute and networking services
With over 600 million Alexa devices out there today, Alexa teams must rely on reliable, resilient, and globally scalable cloud infrastructure. The latest Echo devices are powered by Amazon chips, AZ3 and AZ3 Pro. They have advanced speech, audio, and visual processing on the devices themselves, so Alexa can have more natural, free-flowing interactions. It also uses AWS Lambda for serverless backend logic, Amazon DynamoDB for data storage, and AWS Private Certificate Authority for smart home device certificates, and access to foundation models like Amazon Nova through Amazon Bedrock.
