NamiTech Delivers Near Real-Time Compliance at Scale on AWS for One of Vietnam's Leading Life Insurer

Vietnam's updated insurance regulations prompted insurers to modernize how they manage compliance at scale. High-volume providers like Bảo Việt Life process over 40,000 contracts each month. This volume made manual compliance reviews resource-intensive and time-consuming. Automating compliance checks helped reduce turnaround time and improve operational efficiency.

These regulations encouraged insurers to modernize how they engage with customers. In Vietnam, face-to-face consultations often take place in dynamic environments, such as coffee shops and shopping malls. As a result, audio quality and voice diversity pose unique challenges. Insurers recognized the chance to implement smarter, more adaptive technology. These solutions needed to authenticate identities, detect fraud in near real-time, and meet transparency expectations without compromising service delivery. 

NamiTech deployed VoiceGate on AWS to deliver near real-time compliance verification for Bảo Việt Life. The platform reduced manual review time from up to 60 minutes to under 1 minute per consultation. The solution also integrates AI-driven fraud detection and voice authentication. These capabilities helped Bảo Việt Life improve efficiency and shift staff toward higher-value customer engagement.

To support these outcomes, NamiTech utilized Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed service for building and scaling generative AI applications, to train and deploy foundation models for VoiceGate. The models were finetuned to understand Vietnamese insurance terminology and regulatory context. VoiceGate uses voice biometrics along with speaker isolation, helping detect compliance gaps in near real-time while maintaining audio clarity, solving the challenges of mono recording.

Additionally, VoiceGate's voice biometric capabilities can authenticate participant identities during recordings—a critical fraud prevention measure that helps maintain the integrity of insurance sales processes. NamiTech also used Amazon Bedrock's built-in security features to maintain data privacy when training models and analyzing new insurance conversations. The combination of AWS Bedrock and NamiTech’s well-known AI modules in VoiceGate empowers BaoViet to detect compliance gaps in near real-time while ensuring a smooth experience for both agents and customers.

NamiTech also used Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), a compute capacity scaling service, to support near real-time voice processing at scale. The company runs multiple concurrent voice streams and AI models, optimizing performance through flexible instance types based on workload demands.

To manage compliance-related audio at scale, NamiTech selected Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), an object storage service. The company uses Amazon S3 to provide secure storage that helps meet Vietnam's data sovereignty requirements and maintain high availability across nationwide insurance operations.

Building on its success with Bảo Việt Life, NamiTech has expanded VoiceGate to six additional insurance companies across Vietnam. Three insurers are already running the platform on AWS.

NamiTech is now enhancing VoiceGate's capabilities to support regulatory needs and broader enterprise adoption. The company is also working with AWS to adapt the solution for new markets, including Japan, tailoring the platform to local requirements as it scales internationally.
