Overview

It’s a common belief in warehouse logistics that companies must sacrifice speed, quality, or efficiency to excel at the other two. OPLOG set out to prove this assumption wrong. The technology-driven fulfillment company experienced
operational complexity as its customer-agnostic model scaled rapidly across multiple countries. To transform from reactive to near real-time operations, OPLOG used Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build a production-grade artificial intelligence (AI) agent orchestration solution that could make thousands of intelligent decisions per day while learning and optimizing continuously. Now, the company delivers all three—speed, quality, and efficiency—and scales its operations without proportional increases in management overhead.

About OPLOG

Founded in 2013, OPLOG is a technology-driven fulfillment company serving major brands and global marketplaces. Using proprietary software and autonomous robots, OPLOG processes millions of items monthly through its customer-agnostic platform.

Opportunity | Using AWS to build production AI agents for OPLOG

OPLOG built its business on a customer-agnostic fulfillment model. The company serves major ecommerce brands and global marketplaces across fashion, cosmetics, and electronics throughout the same warehouses, using the same workers and autonomous mobile robots. Managing this shared infrastructure means juggling different products, packaging requirements, service-level agreement commitments, and seasonal demand patterns.

By mid-2024, the operational complexity inherent to OPLOG’s customer-agnostic model compounded with scale—increasing both the volume and complexity of resource allocation decisions. Millions of transactions flowed through fulfillment processes daily. At the same time, critical resource allocation decisions took hours to make, often becoming obsolete before implementation.

OPLOG wanted to move from hours to seconds in decision-making, transforming reactive decision-making into proactive, intelligent orchestration. To accomplish this, the company needed a comprehensive solution that could support building, deploying, and scaling production-grade AI agents that make thousands of intelligent decisions daily in near real time. After evaluating different options, OPLOG chose AWS for its integrated AI capabilities, robust infrastructure services, and ability to deliver enterprise-grade security and scalable performance.

Solution | Developing an AI orchestration system using Amazon Bedrock

In July 2025, OPLOG began to build an AI orchestration system on AWS—not a single AI, but an intelligent system of specialized agents designed to handle specific operational domains while communicating and coordinating with each other. The company chose Amazon Bedrock, a comprehensive, secure, and flexible service for building generative AI applications and agents, as the foundation for its production-grade system.

OPLOG deployed AI agents using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, an agentic platform to build, deploy, and operate highly capable agents securely at scale, with Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet to serve as the cognitive engine. These services provide the reasoning capabilities that power each agent’s decision-making. “After realizing that Amazon Bedrock AgentCore solves nearly all our problems, we laid out our challenges and described our requirements,” says Halit Develioğlu, founder and CEO of OPLOG. “The AWS team helped us discover and understand the entire solution portfolio that AWS offers, and then they helped us craft the solutions we needed.”

By August 2025, OPLOG’s first production AI agent went live. The company uses AWS Lambda, which empowers developers to run code without thinking about servers and clusters, to power the serverless operation of agent workflows. As a result, OPLOG can scale its AI agents dynamically based on operational demand. Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS), an easy-to-manage relational database service, stores operational data and decision histories, while Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), an object storage service, stores training data and analytics.

“This is not a short ride. This is a very long journey,” says Develioğlu. “We believed AI could transform fulfillment operations entirely. Using AWS as our foundation, we’re not just transforming them—we’re redefining what’s possible at scale.”

Outcome | Transforming operations and exceeding industry standards

Using AWS, OPLOG now delivers speed, quality, and efficiency simultaneously. The company achieved a 90 percent reduction in decision-making time, with resource allocation decisions that previously took hours now happening in seconds. The AI agent system has driven measurable improvements across fulfillment operations: resource usage increased to 85–95 percent compared to the industry standard of 60–70 percent, operational costs decreased by 30–40 percent through intelligent coordination, and the same management team can now oversee operations at three times the previous scale.

Service-level agreement compliance improved by 3.5 percentage points, while customer satisfaction scores increased by 8 percentage points. “There is no room for inefficiency. There is no room for error,” says Develioğlu. “Using all these tools and technologies, we’re offering a seamless post-purchase experience to our customers.”

Development velocity increased dramatically. New AI agent capabilities that previously took 1 month to deploy now launch in 1 week, a 75 percent reduction in time to production. This acceleration empowers OPLOG to continuously innovate across its customer-agnostic fulfillment platform and respond rapidly to operational challenges.

OPLOG is now expanding its AI transformation across additional business units, working toward its 2030 vision where 90 percent of decisions are made autonomously by AI and 70 percent of physical tasks are executed by robots. Using AWS as its foundation, OPLOG is positioned to scale its customer-agnostic fulfillment platform, powered by AI and robotics, across new markets and customer segments while maintaining the same exceptional standards.
