Manage & monitor your AWS storage. This 1 hour Test Drive launches NetApp Cloud ONTAP with iSCSI services to a Windows 2012 Server. You’ll use Microsoft SQL Server IO load generator to simulate real-world SQL tests using Cloud ONTAP and see how easy it is to manage storage instantly using integrated web based management.
This Test Drive leverages NetApp Cloud ONTAP to perform database transactions and use AltaVault to tier the data to AWS S3. The environment launches NetApp Cloud ONTAP with pre-configured iSCSI drive ready to mount and AltaVault with pre-configured CIFS share to back up the data to S3. This 2 hour Test Drive shows the user how they can use NetApp Cloud ONTAP to run SQL Server transactions and leverage SQL backup tool to perform backup to S3 using AltaVault.
