Set up and log into your AWS account

Create a file share

The FSx for Windows File Server console is where you create, launch, and manage file systems. Follow the steps in the wizard to create a new file system using your own Active Directory or an AWS-managed Active Directory. Try it out

Connect your file shares to your existing Microsoft Windows environment

Connect to your file shares from application servers and end-user compute instances, and use Amazon FSx file systems to share file data across application servers and end-users. Read our Getting Started Guide

Amazon FSx for Windows File Server file systems can also be managed through the  Amazon FSx CLI for Remote Management on PowerShell . The commands support remote management and give you the ability to fully automate many types of setup, configuration, and backup workflows from a central location. Amazon FSx can also be managed through the  Amazon FSx APIs .
