Getting started with Amazon WorkSpaces Thin Client

Purchase, deploy, and manage Amazon WorkSpaces Thin Client

Follow these steps to purchase, deploy, and manage WorkSpaces Thin Client

1

Purchase WorkSpaces Thin Client devices, monitors, and peripherals

WorkSpaces Thin Client devices are available for purchase on Amazon Business, along with validated hubs, monitors, and peripherals. You can ship directly from Amazon to end users or to a central receiving location. The WorkSpaces Thin Client device includes an HDMI-out port to connect to a monitor and a single USB port to connect to a hub. The validated hubs available on Amazon Business provide support for USB peripherals (keyboard, mouse, webcam, and headset). The Zhenyou EVT hub (offered as a bundle with WorkSpaces Thin Client) allows you to extend the desktop across two monitors.

2

Set up virtual desktops and management service

WorkSpaces Thin Client management service allows you to create environments to seamlessly connect to Amazon WorkSpaces, Amazon WorkSpaces Web, and Amazon AppStream 2.0. Each environment generates an activation code for end users to enter to register their thin client to the AWS account.
