You can now record configuration changes to AWS X-Ray using AWS Config.

AWS X-Ray helps developers analyze and debug production-level distributed applications, such as those built using a microservices architecture. With X-Ray, you can understand how your application and its underlying services are functioning to identify and troubleshoot performance issues and errors.

With AWS Config support for X-Ray, you can track changes to the encryption configuration in X-Ray. Specifically, you can get a history of changes to the AWS KMS key that is associated with the encryption configuration. This information is useful for audit and compliance use cases in enterprises.

Support for tracking X-Ray encryption configuration is available in all AWS commercial regions where AWS X-Ray is offered. To see the full list of supported regions, visit AWS Regions and Endpoints in the AWS General Reference.
