Enterprises: Securely stream application to your users

Deploy an onboarding portal to enable your application owners to stream their apps to users

Amazon AppStream 2.0 is a fully managed application streaming service that simplifies application delivery. You centrally manage your desktop applications on AppStream 2.0 and securely deliver them to any computer. Users access the same version of each application using their existing credentials and your security policies control access. You can stop managing application installations and updates on every user's computer and scale to any number of users across the globe without acquiring, provisioning, and operating hardware or infrastructure. AppStream 2.0 is built on AWS, so you benefit from a data center and network architecture designed for the most security-sensitive organizations.

You can use AppStream 2.0 to accelerate your application streaming and AWS cloud migration by providing a secure, automated, onboarding workflow that enables your application owners to self-service adopt AppStream 2.0.

Overview

In this project series, you use Amazon AppStream 2.0 and other AWS services to create a web portal for an example reference corporation that enables application owners to build their own AppStream 2.0 image and fleet using an automated workflow. To get started, see Application Onboarding Portal Overview.

Initial configuration for each project

To complete the initial configuration in each project, you use Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) to host a static website. This project series uses Example Corp. as a reference company, and it provides associated digital assets for the website, including logos and text. Or, you can substitute your own assets to customize the website for your organization. Next, you add and verify an email address identity in Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES) so that you can send and receive customer emails.
