      The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Portfolio Analysis (OPA) sought a more scalable and flexible IT environment to support applications including a research web database and tools for indexing and searching text-based data. To meet these needs, the organization worked with AWS Partner Govplace to create a new text-based indexing and search solution on AWS. Now, OPA scales in hours instead of months to support 10 times the compute capacity, helping researchers accelerate scientific research by quickly scanning millions of grants, journal articles, and patents.

      BJSS Helps University of Bath Track Room Occupancy with 90% Accuracy on AWS

      United Kingdom

      The University of Bath in southwest England wanted to make better use of data to support decision making across the campus. It decided to build a system that used Wi-Fi and Internet of Things (IoT) data to better understand the occupancy of its teaching spaces. It wanted to make the data available in near real-time and in visual form to give it insights into estate management, building projects, and timetable strategy. The university turned to AWS Partner BJSS to help build the system on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The project proved that the university could accurately assess use of spaces in near real-time using anonymized, cleansed, and processed Wi-Fi data.

      CloudZone Streamlines and Adapts Machine Learning Model Lifecycles in the Cloud for LSports

      LSports is a sports data company that provides an innovative API for the sports betting industry, providing high-quality live sports data feeds to clients worldwide. The company had a large repository in their data warehouse and wanted to use this data to provide advanced features to their customers. AWS Partner CloudZone developed an end-to-end machine learning (ML) pipeline. It was designed and built on top of a robust ML foundational service, delivering a training pipeline that controls data preparation, model training, and model deployment for more efficient model training as well as improved performance thanks to better cloud compute power.
