Deep Integration with AWS Services

Context Lake’s architecture leverages multiple AWS services to deliver enterprise-grade performance, security, and scalability. This deep integration with AWS infrastructure enables organizations to deploy production AI systems with confidence while maximizing their existing AWS investments.

The solution’s core AWS service integrations include Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) provides the orchestration layer for Context Lake’s microservices architecture, enabling elastic scaling and efficient resource utilization for varying AI workloads. AWS Graviton Processors deliver optimal price-performance for compute-intensive operations, while Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) work in concert to provide a tiered storage architecture that balances cost efficiency with high-performance data access.

Security and governance requirements are addressed through comprehensive AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) integration, ensuring data encryption and access control meet enterprise standards. The solution is available through AWS Marketplace, streamlining procurement and deployment processes for AWS customers.

Tacnode Context Lake integrates with Amazon Bedrock to deliver real-time context to foundation models through Bedrock’s unified API. This integration enables applications to access fresh data with millisecond latency, eliminating stale data issues that commonly plague AI systems. Developers can now build applications that make dynamic decisions using up-to-date information across any foundation model available in Amazon Bedrock.

It also integrates with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, providing context for AI agents in a secure, serverless environment. Through AgentCore Gateway and the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Context Lake maintains fresh context for complex multi-step tasks while handling persistent memory and authentication. This allows organizations to deploy production-ready AI agents that maintain accuracy and security at scale.

The Technical Foundation

Tacnode’s architecture is built around four core capabilities to deliver instant context for AI applications. The data ingestion layer supports a wide range of sources, from relational databases to IoT streams. The transform engine processes data in real-time, while the query layer provides full SQL flexibility. Finally, the retrieval engine ensures millisecond-latency access even under heavy loads.

This integrated approach as shown in Figure 2, eliminates the need for complex data pipelines and multiple storage engines, significantly reducing operational overhead while improving performance.
