AWS Week in Review – May 14, 2012

Let’s take a quick look at what happened in AWS-land last week:

Monday, May 14	We created a new Twitter account for AWS Marketplace. In conjunction with NVIDIA, we announced the GPU Test Drive. Adobe announced that their CQ Cloud Managerd is now available on AWS.
Tuesday, May 15	We released domain verification for the Simple Email Service.
Wednesday, May 16	AWS Evangelist Matt Wood published a new presentation, Building Applications With DynamoDB. We’ll be posting a recording sometime soon. We announced that AWS Elastic Beanstalk is now available in Europe.
Thursday, May 17	You can now create RDS read replicas within a Virtual Private Cloud. The new Mechanical Turk Categorization App simplifies the task of assigning categories to items.
Friday, May 18	We released a new AWS case study – FunPlus Game of China. We updated the AWS Management Console support for the Elastic Load Balancer, and also added ELB support for IPv6 in two additional regions. Items in the AWS Marketplace can now be placed behind an Elastic Load Balancer.
