AWS Marketplace
Bringing AWS firewall policies into focus with AlgoSec Horizon and ACE
When customers migrate workloads from on-premises infrastructure to Amazon Web Services (AWS), AWS firewall Manager policies strengthen security through centralized control. This creates possibilities to integrate cloud firewall policies seamlessly with existing security infrastructure for comprehensive visibility.
AWS Firewall Manager centralizes policy management across your cloud environment. Security teams can use both the AWS Management Console and third-party solutions in AWS Marketplace to achieve visibility, improved configuration accuracy, and streamlined compliance management.
AWS Marketplace is a digital catalog of third-party software, services, and data that makes it easy to find, buy, deploy, and manage software you need to build solutions and run your business on AWS. AWS Marketplace integrates third-party security tools with AWS Firewall Manager to create unified management experience. Teams can use this integrated approach to optimize policy analysis, accelerate change simulation, and enhance impact assessment. You can efficiently evaluate permissions, validate connectivity, and maintain alignment with internal and industry standards with management solutions available in AWS Marketplace.
AlgoSec in AWS Marketplace
AlgoSec brings AWS Firewall Manager policy visibility into AlgoSec Horizon and AlgoSec Cloud Enterprise (ACE). Bringing AlgoSec into your environment in AWS Marketplace offers several important advantages:
- Simplified procurement – Purchase directly from the AWS Marketplace.
- Faster time-to-value – Onboarding is streamlined for quick visibility and control implementation.
- Unified billing – Costs are consolidated under your current AWS spend.
- Scalable cloud-based deployment – AlgoSec provides a scalable way to extend policy control across all environments.
Unified firewall visibility with AlgoSec Horizon and ACE
AlgoSec’s integration with AWS provides visibility into your security infrastructure. With AlgoSec Horizon and ACE, AWS Firewall Manager policies are fully integrated into your broader security and connectivity strategy.
The key benefits include unified visibility to view AWS Firewall Manager policies within your hybrid network topology. Application-centric insights help understand how cloud policies affect your business-critical applications. Consistent policy analysis allows you to analyze AWS configurations like traditional firewalls. Centralized operations let you prepare for automation, risk assessment, and change simulation all from one platform Having everything on a single platform means security teams can integrate AWS Firewall Manager policies into their broader policy management framework.
Using AlgoSec with AWS Firewall Manager
After purchasing, log into the ACE console and choose the AWS Firewall Policies tab to see all your deployed AWS firewalls and their associated policies. You can view details on each firewall, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), Availability Zones, and subnets. ACE displays grouped stateless and stateful rule sets and provides application mapping and policy context through Horizon. You can use this real-time visibility to understand not only what policies exist, but how they impact application connectivity and risk posture.
The following screenshot shows the Network Policies page on the AlgoSec Cloud console. The main account page shows the firewalls, the policy sets, and the rules.

Hovering over a firewall name reveals VPC context and selecting it displays rule details and application associations, as shown in the following screenshot.
Figure 2: VPC context shown while hovering over the firewall name test-firewall-2
AWS firewall policies are made up of two rule groups: stateless and stateful. Each rule collection group includes multiple rules that define how traffic is handled by the firewall, as shown in the following screenshot.

The AWS firewall details are associated with the relevant business applications and are part of the application view from AlgoSec Horizon that displays details about each application. This includes the application owners, an application diagram, and other related policies and connections across on-premises and cloud resources that are required. This view is shown in the following screenshot.
