AWS for Healthcare at RSNA23

AWS for Healthcare at RSNA23

AWS for Healthcare is heading to Chicago for the upcoming Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2023 event, November 26-29. We are looking forward to engaging with industry leaders and discussing how we can empower their enterprise imaging with cloud-based services to speed diagnosis and innovation.

To support radiologists and health systems deliver patient-centered care, AWS presents purpose-built medical imaging solutions that can help improve clinical collaboration and accelerate artificial intelligence (AI) innovation in medical imaging to extract insights and personalize patient care.

AWS on the RSNA23 Show Floor – Booth #4724

At RSNA, we are demonstrating medical imaging services and solutions to address your clinical, workflow, and operational needs. We are also discussing how innovations like generative AI and multi-modal data analysis can help radiologists do their jobs more quickly and accurately. And, of course, we feature leading partners in the imaging space, such as: Philips, GE Healthcare, Agfa, Aidoc, SmartReporting, Radical Imaging, Apollo, Mach7, DICOMATICS, Alara Imaging, Hoppr, and Flywheel.

Demonstrations

Medical imaging in the cloud: Drive faster, more accurate diagnoses and better care coordination and treatment decisions with AWS HealthImaging, a HIPAA-eligible service that helps healthcare providers and their medical imaging ISV partners store, transform, and apply machine learning (ML) to medical images (e.g., X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound) at petabyte scale. AWS HealthImaging enables fast access to medical imaging data with sub-second image retrieval latencies and provides up to a 40% reduction in storage costs.

Imaging AI: Leverage the potential of Generative AI to enhance the precision and efficiency of ML in medical imaging, such as CT and MRI scans. These models can autonomously detect abnormalities and alert healthcare professionals to potential issues , thereby speeding diagnosis and accelerating the move toward proactive, personalized medicine.

Medical image archiving and VNA: View, share, store, and archive petabytes of medical imaging data in the cloud to optimize cross-departmental collaboration and image sharing.

Multimodal analysis: Dive into AWS multi-modal solutions, which enable health organizations to more easily unify siloed data and transform unstructured medical data, such as medical imaging and medical text, for downstream analysis to improve the speed and accuracy of diagnoses. Whether looking to build a bespoke solution or an out-of-the-box implementation, AWS for Health provides purpose-built services, industry tools, and partner solutions to help unify and analyze varying forms of medical data.

Educational course – RSNA Deep Learning Lab

Workshop: MONAI Core on Amazon SageMaker Studio Lab | DLL16
November 29, 1:00 PM | Learning Center, Deep Learning Lab
AWS speaker: Alex Lemm, BD Medical Imaging Innovation and Andrew Crabb, Sr. Solution Architect, Healthcare

Amazon SageMaker Studio Lab provides no-cost access to a JupyterLab-based ML development environment for everyone with an email address. MONAI Core is a PyTorch-based, open-source library for training deep learning models in medical imaging. In this workshop, we provide a brief introduction to MONAI and its various components, including MONAI Auto3DSeg – a low-code tool that empowers developers to address the complex task of 3D medical image segmentation. Notably, a team of NVIDIA researchers utilized Auto3DSeg to achieve success in several MICCAI 2023 challenges. Participants engage in hands-on experience by running several MONAI labs within their own SageMaker Studio Lab environment, which is provided as part of the course. Toward the end, we also discuss leveraging another service – Amazon SageMaker – for training your cutting-edge image models at scale. Learn more here.
