Healthcare & Life Sciences at re:Invent 2021- Industry Attendee Guide

Celebrating its 10th year, AWS re:Invent 2021 is gearing up to deliver a week of inspiring content, educational workshops and bootcamps, and plenty of peer-to-peer networking opportunities. This year’s conference will take place in Las Vegas from November 29th through December 3rd, and will have an engaging virtual component for those who cannot join us in person.

AWS re:Invent 2021 will offer hundreds of sessions, with more than 20 focused on the healthcare and life sciences industries. You’ll learn how AWS experts and breakthrough leaders across healthcare providers, academic research, pharma/biotech, and medical devices are using cloud technology to transform their businesses and innovate on behalf of patients. If you are in the health industry and are looking to participate in re:Invent 2021, be sure to do the following:

  • Register for re:Invent to attend in person or virtually

Healthcare & Life Sciences Networking Lounge

The Healthcare and Life Sciences Networking Lounge is dedicated space for industry attendees to meet with AWS experts, dive into focused topic areas, informally network and relax with peers, and interact with speakers directly following their sessions. Use this space to connect with industry colleagues at the event and meet AWS experts in Healthcare and Life Sciences. The networking lounge is located on the Wynn Level 1, and will be open Monday morning through Thursday afternoon.

Kelli Jonakin, Ph.D.

Kelli Jonakin, Ph.D.

Kelli Jonakin is the Worldwide Head of Marketing for Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Genomics Industry verticals at AWS. She comes with a background in pharmaceutical research, with a special focus on development and commercialization of biologics. Kelli received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Systems Biology from the University of Colorado, and received an NIH post-doctoral fellowship grant to study Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
