Today, on National Child Health Day, AWS is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 AWS Imagine Grant Children’s Health Innovation Award (CHIA). This year’s cohort recognizes ten leading healthcare, research, and humanitarian organizations who are using AWS to realize a common vision: creating a world where every child has the opportunity to thrive through innovative solutions that predict, prevent, and address health challenges.

The year 2024 was filled with both excitement and thoughtful consideration in the nonprofit sector as the world seeks to understand and apply transformative cloud technologies such as generative artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance impact and increase productivity. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is privileged to work alongside organizations in the social sector who are using these tools for the benefit of people and our planet, and who are leading conversations about how to do it responsibly. We’re proud to announce that many of those organizations are AWS IMAGINE Grant winners, representing our largest cohort of recipients to date.

Each year, Amazon Web Services (AWS) awards IMAGINE Grants to nonprofit organizations using cloud technology to drive mission-critical impact for their beneficiaries. Learn more about the IMAGINE Grant program and this year’s winners, who were announced today at our re:Invent 2023 conference.

The 2023 IMAGINE: Nonprofit conference brought together hundreds of nonprofit leaders, technologists, and innovators to learn and share how AWS Cloud technology can drive a positive impact for people and the planet. Chelsea Clinton, author, advocate, and vice chair of the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Health Access Initiative, spoke with Francessca Vasquez, AWS vice president of technology and customer solutions, about their passions for data and leadership during a fireside chat. As one-time donations increasingly become the norm, nonprofit development teams are challenged to think outside-the-box to attract, retain, and communicate with their valuable supporters. Nonprofit organizations can use data to inform an enhanced engagement strategy, but many are challenged to unlock the full value of that data affordably and at scale. To help nonprofits use the cloud to build innovative fundraising and member engagement solutions, we are launching a new program – AWS TechAction.

At re:Invent 2022, AWS announced the winners of this year’s AWS IMAGINE Grant. Winners receive not only unrestricted funding, but also access to training and expert technical guidance. Although they represent diverse mission areas, each organization is committed to innovating with the cloud, using data to fuel their missions, and scaling access to vital services through cloud-enabled, digital tools.
