Announcing the Think Big for Small Business Pilot Program for AWS Public Sector Partners

According to the World Bank, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) account for about 90 percent of all companies. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), more than half of our partners serving the public sector are fast-growing SMEs and minority-owned businesses (MOBs). To support this important partner community, we’re launching a pilot of the Think Big for Small Business Program in August 2020.

How small and medium businesses can win in the public sector

Across the public sector, there are many examples of how small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are innovating with the cloud to deliver successful outcomes to UK public sector customers. To share how SMEs are playing a critical role in enabling government customers on their cloud adoption journey, while specializing their businesses to drive innovation, Amazon Web Services (AWS) created a series of videos with small business leaders from the AWS Partner Network (APN).

Technical Advisory Services and Customized Material Now Available for AWS CloudStart

We are pleased to announce enhancements to the AWS CloudStart program to accelerate digital transformation with enhanced tools, trainings, and practice environments. AWS CloudStart supports Economic Development Organizations (EDOs) and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing resources to educate, train, and help them embrace the cost-effectiveness of the AWS Cloud. The current program provides benefits, such as virtual training material, Quiklabs, and AWS Promotional Credits, to approved applicants.
