New courses and certification offerings from AWS Training and Certification in December 2023

Dive into our 21 new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including seven new game-based and interactive trainings and certification preparation courses to help you build AWS Cloud expertise, from AWS Industry Quest: Manufacturing and Automotive, AWS Card Clash, to the new AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam prep resource, AWS Escape Room. You can also recertify for your AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner by playing the beta AWS Cloud Quest: Cloud Practitioner Recertify – no need to take an exam. We also have four new learning plans with digital badges to guide your knowledge-building, and for executives, we’ve added cloud education for Chief Human Resource Officers and for executives wanting to build their security know-how.

To redefine automotive innovation, the BMW Group is equipping itself for the future with the necessary tools and expertise for collecting, analyzing, and managing data. The company worked alongside AWS to launch an expansive learning program that upskilled more than 2,500 employees in data analytics, data science, and software development. A pivotal development was the establishment of the BMW Platform Academy with a focus on AWS Cloud skills, which empowered the company’s next generation of engineers.

Compass UOL cloud job training program exclusively for AWS re/Start graduates in Brazil

Compass UOL, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner specializing in digital transformation services, has hired 14 graduates of the Brazil AWS re/Start program into the Compass Academy program. Compass Academy provides internships with on-the-job technical training, in areas such as cloud development, data engineering, machine learning, cyber security and DevSecOps, among others, with mentoring from Compass UOL professionals. In partnership with AWS, the company plans to add 50 new positions exclusively to AWS re/Start graduates in 2024.

Introducing the AWS Builder Lab Observability Hub at re: Invent 2023

This year at AWS re:Invent 2023, we are launching the AWS Observability Hub, which will display LIVE Amazon CloudWatch dashboards showing some of the Observability we care about from the AWS Builder Labs experience, from a business, developer, and support perspective. In November, we launched 16 digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including 9 new AWS Builder Labs and self-serve AWS Jam events in AWS Skill Builder subscription. For executives, we’ve added more digital training to help you build your knowledge of cloud – this time for small business owners and risk and compliance officers. Unlocking the potential of neurodiverse talent

ITvitae, Rabobank, and AWS Training and Certification have joined forces in an initiative to bridge the gap between neurodivergent talent and the tech industry’s demands. This partnership focuses on providing specialized training, exemplified by the success of individuals like Rebecca de Jong, who graduated from ITvitae with two AWS certifications and transitioned into a technical role at Rabobank.
