Three new Amazon Elastic Block Storage (EBS) deep-dive digital courses
Want to dive deep into Amazon EBS? These three, free, advanced-level digital courses examine how to configure and manage Amazon EBS volumes and file systems, how to manage the performance of those EBS volumes and file systems, and how to manage your organization’s Amazon EBS costs. - In the one-hour course, Deep Dive: Managing and Monitoring Amazon Block Store (Amazon EBS), you’ll explore how to modify the size, performance, and type of their EBS volume deployments. This new intermediate, 30-minute digital course, Amazon Elastic File Systems (Amazon EFS) Primer, introduces you to the benefits of using Amazon EFS and helps you explore how Amazon EFS integrates with other AWS services. Developing Serverless Applications with AWS Step Functions
AWS is launching a four-course series focused on Step Functions. The series is intended for anyone who wants to learn more about Step Functions and the benefits of using them. We recommend that you these courses in order and have prior knowledge of serverless technologies.
- How do I get started with Step Functions? Step Functions let developers plan AWS services, automate business processes, and build serverless applications. The free, 35-minute, digital course, Introduction to AWS Step Functions, explains its benefits, how to use them, the different components, and when to utilize the two types of workflows—Standard and Express. - How do Step Functions work? This 55-minute, digital course for developers and cloud architects includes a video demonstration and explains when and how to use Standard and Express Workflows, how to integrate Step Functions with other AWS services, and more. - What’s the best way to log, monitor, and trace Step Function workflows? Observability for AWS Step Functions is a one-and-a-half-hour digital course that helps developers and cloud architects learn how to log, monitor, and trace Step Function workflows using a variety of AWS services. By the end of the course, you’ll know how to integrate Step Functions with other services and how to debug and troubleshoot Step Function workflows. Developer Tooling for AWS Step Functions, a 55-minute, intermediate-level course for experienced developers and cloud architects, explains how and when to use development options. An opportunity to learn about the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT)
Interested in a career that utilizes the IIoT? With the proliferation of devices in our homes, cars, places of business, schools, etc., there’s an increasing need for solutions to connect them and collect, store, and analyze device data. This new digital course, Industrial IoT Fundamentals on AWS, provides learners with an introduction to IIoT and the AWS Internet of Things (IoT) Greengrass. It also outlines the difference between IoT and IIoT and sensors, gateways and cloud things; it also explains the use of machine learning in IIoT and security in IIoT. Updated AWS Elemental Live digital courses – Foundations, Advanced, Conductor, and new AWS Elemental Statmux
Do you want to gain a deeper understanding of how to use AWS Elemental Live? We updated three, free, self-paced digital AWS Elemental courses and released a new, fourth course. The updated courses include AWS Elemental Live Foundations, AWS Elemental Live Advanced, and AWS Elemental Conductor. AWS Elemental Statmux is a new course that requires learners take the aforementioned three courses in advance. These courses are designed for video operator/broadcast engineers, developers, and systems architects.
- AWS Elemental Live Foundations is a 120-minute foundational course designed to teach you how to navigate AWS Elemental Live; create an event; troubleshoot system logs, alerts, and messages; resolve common issues; and conduct basic maintenance, including configuring, reinstalling, and kickstarting.
