New Twitch Series: AWS Power Hour: SysOps and New Get AWS Certified Challenge

Want to learn how to deploy, manage, and operate workloads on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud? Looking for an interactive and engaging way to prepare for the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate exam? Join us for the new Twitch series, AWS Power Hour: SysOps, and sign up for our latest AWS Certification challenge.

AWS Power Hour: SysOps is a free, six-week training that’s designed for all experience levels and helps you grow your skills through real-world system administration examples and demonstrations. The show livestreams every Monday for 60 minutes and is followed by a 30-minute Q&A, March 28 through May 2, 2022. Timing will vary, with episodes occurring at either 6:30 a.m. or 9:30 a.m. PT, or you can access recorded episodes anytime, immediately after they stream. You can view the full schedule on Twitch. Why join AWS Power Hour: SysOps?

AWS Power Hour: SysOps is designed for cloud architects, cloud administrators, system engineers, and anyone who wants to learn to deploy, manage, and operate workloads on the AWS Cloud. The series will cover the key concepts you need to know if you’re preparing to take the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate exam and complements the Systems Operator Learning Plan (Amazon), which is the primary resource for exam preparation. A basic understanding of the cloud is helpful, but no matter your experience level, we encourage you to join this fun, informal, and interactive learning experience that brings together a community of individuals who share a desire to build cloud skills.

Every episode is interactive and you can ask questions of our hosts and chat moderators, who are AWS Authorized Instructors. You’ll also receive tips, resources, and exercises to help strengthen your knowledge and prepare you to get AWS Certified. Your hosts might even assign homework and you could have your submission featured by our host on the show!

Immediately following each show, stay with us for AWS Power Hour: Q&A, a 30-minute open-forum livestream where you can continue to interact and ask questions with the hosts and your fellow learners.

Register for the Get AWS Certified: Associate Challenge

We invite you to join the Get AWS Certified: Associate Challenge, which is free and runs from March 1 through May 31, 2022. Registration is open until April 15. Designed for anyone interested in obtaining an Associate-level AWS Certification, this challenge will help you set and achieve a goal to get AWS Certified. The challenge provides a recommended path to help you prepare to take one of three Associate-level exams: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or AWS Certified Developer – Associate.

An AWS Certification Official Practice exam is not yet available for AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
