AWS Cloud: Ready to Power Golden Dome for America

Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides cloud infrastructure and services that can support the Golden Dome for America (GDA) missile defense architecture. The AWS Global Network provides a secure foundation for missile defense operations across space, air, land, and maritime domains. AWS's global infrastructure delivers high-throughput, low-latency connectivity supporting geographically dispersed missile defense components with redundant network paths.

GDA requires assured secured communications and decision advantage in denied environments through a resilient, self-healing mesh network that operates where traditional infrastructure cannot. The Edge Mesh Components extend capabilities to the tactical edge, enabling distributed processing, local data persistence, and resilient connectivity in forward-deployed environments that have connectivity to the AWS cloud. Partners can deploy containerized applications, run ML models, and process sensor data locally all synchronized with the AWS cloud. AWS also supports integrating third party edge products, extending the AWS suite of cloud capability to customizable edge solutions. 

AWS provides a comprehensive suite of services and tools to enable digital engineering for missile defense systems at scale. The AWS cloud offers compute, storage, and networking resources to support large-scale, high-fidelity simulations. Partners can leverage specialized instance types optimized for HPC, running complex physics-based models, sensor fusion algorithms, and system-of-systems scenarios.
