Overview

Amazon Q in QuickSight provides users with unified insights across all their enterprise data. QuickSight derives insights from traditional BI data sources and augments it with pertinent information delivered by Q Business from sources such as document repositories, websites, messages, call logs and more.

Get responses to questions with additional context

Amazon Q in QuickSight can now augment your Q&A responses with documents, weblinks and other unstructured sources to provide additional context. Amazon Q also cites relevant sources and links should you want to dive deeper into data.

Amazon Q augments narratives in data stories with relevant documents, reports and other unstructured sources to make your data story even more compelling. In addition, upload local files to be utilized as a source for narrative data story telling with Amazon Q in QuickSight data stories. Data stories provides source citations presenting you with all the required data at your fingertips.

Simplify administration

Amazon Q in QuickSight and Amazon Q Business are tightly integrated simplifying administration. Enabling your users with unified insights is easier than ever and you need to provision users only once.  All QuickSight identities are supported, and IAM IdC is no longer required.
