New Omdia research reveals AWS partners can achieve up to $7.13 multiplier through comprehensive cloud services delivery

The cloud services opportunity continues to expand as organizations embrace AI and digital transformation. A new study from Omdia quantifies the revenue potential for AWS Partners across the entire customer lifecycle.

The AWS Partner Ecosystem Multiplier (PEM) study reveals that partners can generate up to $7.13 in services revenue for every $1 of AWS technology sold. This comprehensive research analyzed partner revenue across advisory, design, implementation, adoption, and management services.

Key findings from the report:

  • Expert partners, comprising 31% of AWS' partner base, can achieve the full $7.13 multiplier by delivering services across the entire customer lifecycle
  • 82% of partners are delivering AI solutions as part of their AWS transformation services
  • Build services generate the largest share at 26.9%, followed by Design (18.1%) and Manage services (17.8%)
  • 64% of partners actively use AWS Marketplace in their go-to-market strategy
  • Long-term value creation is critical – 61% of revenue opportunities occur post-procurement
