AWS Elemental MediaLive now supports the ability to transfer your AWS Elemental Link device from one service region to another. You can transfer the device to any region that supports MediaLive.
If you use Link for remote events that take place in different geographic locations, transferring Link to the closest region can improve the connectivity of your live video feed.
AWS Elemental Link is a device that connects a live video source, like a camera or other video production equipment, to AWS Elemental MediaLive for video encoding in the cloud. MediaLive is part of AWS Media Services, a family of services that form the foundation of cloud-based workflows and offer you the capabilities needed to transport, create, package, store, monetize, and deliver video.
