Iberdrola reduces incidents at power distribution facilities using AWS IoT and Edge services
i-DE—responsible for Iberdrola’s power distribution grid—developed its SmartPoint asset management platform using AWS Internet of Things and AWS for the Edge. With smart, real-time detection of issues, i-DE has reduced reported incidents by 40 percent and cut the number of trips needed to facilities by 50 percent.
