The backend platform, named Hydra, uses Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and Amazon GameLift to enhance online player experiences with services for social media, multiplayer gaming, in-game economies, and more. Using AWS, Warner Bros. Games can scale to handle the launches of its most popular titles, process billions of API requests per day, and support over a million concurrent players at any time.
