AWS for Games Events on Demand (Recorded webinars)
Game Production in the Cloud Webinar
In this webinar, learn how game studios must leverage the cloud to improve productivity, release innovative games on time, and increase profitability. Game Studios face new challenges that impact the availability of games to players on-time. The game industry witnesses a shift to a remote work culture due to the covid-19 pandemic. The impact of talent acquisition and retention is visible on games development schedules. Legacy game production teams look for ways to reduce technical debt and embrace new technologies to unlock innovation. In this context, the cloud offers game production with possibilities to reinvent content creation, development pipelines and play tests to build great games.
Protecting Gamer Experiences with AI Content Moderation
Organizations from all industries, such as gaming, social media, e-commerce, and advertising, are learning that content moderation processes by humans alone cannot scale to meet safety, regulatory, and operational needs in the user-generated content era. Artificial intelligence (AI) can help organizations across industries to reclaim up to 95% of time spent manually moderating content. It can also streamline the detection and protection of PII and PHI across environments and processes. 72% of gamers experience toxic behaviors, and 22% of them stop playing a game due to toxicity. In this session you will learn how to protect gamers, digital environments, and brands online by automating content moderation with AI.
Introducing Amazon DocumentDB for Games
Amazon DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility) is a fully managed, native JSON database designed for scaling enterprise workloads and is one of the fastest-growing AWS services with customers.
In this webinar, learn about the latest Amazon DocumentDB innovations, features, and updates that will push past the scalability limits seen in traditional databases. We will focus on key features of Amazon DocumentDB that make gaming workloads more resilient, scalable, and cost-effective.
If you’re running self-managed MongoDB workloads today, we will outline the steps to follow and tools to leverage in order to migrate to Amazon DocumentDB. If you’re new to document databases, we will show you how quickly you can get started with Amazon DocumentDB.
