AWS Week in Review – April 22, 2013

Let’s take a quick look at what happened in AWS-land last week:

Monday, April 22	We announced that Amazon Redshift and the High Storage Eight instance type are now available in the EU West (Ireland) Region. The AWS Mobile Blog published a post that will show you How to Switch From Single to Multiple Frameworks of the AWS SDK for iOS.
Tuesday, April 23	We added a number of new AWS case studies including Universal Church, Getty Images, and Autodesk. We announced that the AWS Management Console is now available for the AWS GovCloud (US). The Amazon SES (Simple Email Service) Blog published a post that will show you how to check your domain verification settings. The AWS Mobile Blog published a post to help you Understand the JARs in the AWS SDK for Android.
Wednesday, April 24	We announced that the AWS Marketplace now supports the Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region.
Thursday, April 25	We added AWS case studies for Backupify, Seven Bridges Genomics, and WeTransfer. We published a new six-part video series to show you how to Deploy a SharePoint Server Farm 2010 on AWS. We posted the presentations from the AWS Summits in New York and London. We announced that AWS OpsWorks now supports EC2’s micro and m3 instance types.
Friday, April 26	New products added to AWS Marketplace this week include Alert Logic, Birst, FlyData, Qubole, and Sematext.
