Expertise validation in AWS data analytics with AWS Certification

AWS Training and Certification now has a new exam version for the AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty certification, which validates expertise in designing, building, and maintaining analytics solutions that are efficient, cost-effective, and secure.

The new exam version includes updated content across all domains: collection, storage and data management, processing, analysis and visualization, and security. Earning AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty shows that you meet the standard set by AWS data analytics experts.

This certification was previously named AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty. The new name highlights the breadth of the data and analytics technical skills and experience that this certification validates.

This credential helps your organization innovate faster by finding and developing validated expertise, so you can be confident that your team has both the breadth and depth to deliver insights from data. Rob Koch, lead architect at S&P Global, says, “Unlocking the value behind data is crucial to any organization. It is important to strategize our abilities to access and analyze data for a specific purpose, be it for a new product, enhancing an existing product, or discovering a new connection between two disparate datasets.” Koch is also an AWS Data Hero, which is a worldwide group of IT leaders and educators with a shared passion for analytics, database, and blockchain technologies.

AWS Certifications highlight your role-based and specific technical skills to help you stand out and get noticed by colleagues and organizational leaders. AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty shows your ability to define AWS data analytics services and understand how they work together throughout the data life cycle. Koch, who has earned Foundational, Associate-level, and Specialty AWS Certifications, encourages professionals with expertise in data analytics services to pursue this credential. Koch says, “This certification will give your peers the confidence of working with someone who can help provide ideal architectural scenarios leveraging the right cloud technologies, while meeting business needs.”
