AWS Console for iOS and Android Now Supports OpsWorks

We’re pleased to announce support for AWS OpsWorks in the AWS Console mobile app, available on Amazon Appstore, Google Play, and iTunes. The mobile app lets you view the configuration and health of your resources on the go so you can better understand and respond to incidents that may impact your application when you can’t be at a computer. In addition to OpsWorks, the app features support for EC2, Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon Relational Database Service, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, and the Service Health Dashboard. We are regularly adding support for more services.

AWS OpsWorks customers can now use the mobile app to view their stacks, layers, instances, and applications.  In addition to configuration details, you can view CloudWatch metrics and alarms for OpsWorks resources and the status and result of deployments. Instance views enable you to view instance logs on the go, and you can manually stop, start, and reboot instances.

We are rapidly building features that our customers are asking for, so tell us what you’d like to do with the app in the comments below or using the feedback link in the app’s menu. We hope you find the app to be a useful tool for development and operations management.
