AWS Educate Releases New Machine Learning Pathway
Artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and deep learning are cutting-edge technologies that are changing and enhancing many of our daily tasks from natural language processing and self-driving cars to enhanced data mining and medical informatics. But what do these terms mean, and how can we use these technologies?
In AWS Educate’s new Machine Learning Pathway, learners explore the definitions of AI, ML, and deep learning and the impact they can have. They can then discover how the AWS AI suite can be used to solve real-world problems and create new innovations. Students will gain the pre-requisite skills and competencies necessary to be successful as a Machine Learning Scientist, as well as examine ML processes.
Participants will learn about the ML technologies behind Amazon’s recommendation engines, fulfillment center optimization, and the voice of Alexa. Filled with practical learning opportunities that will expose students to innovative technologies, this new pathway provides students with an overview of application speech and language services, as well as an introduction into Amazon SageMaker.
“At Amazon, we’ve been investing deeply in artificial intelligence for more than 20 years. We aim to put machine learning in the hands of every developer and data scientist,” says Dr. Matt Wood, general manager of deep learning and artificial intelligence for AWS. “The new AWS Educate Machine Learning Pathway is a powerful gateway for students to get hands-on, introductory ML content. Students will not only be able to experiment on AWS services such as Amazon SageMaker, but also get the opportunity to put these in-demand skills to use by applying for jobs in the field.”
As AWS Educate members, students also have the opportunity to access the AWS Educate Job Board where they will be exposed to cloud computing careers. All AWS Educate members can dive deeper into machine learning with $200 in free learning content from Udacity.
AWS Educate provides students with access to credits, training, and the option to choose their desired cloud careers. In each AWS Educate cloud career pathway, participants complete knowledge checks, lab exercises, and projects to practice and test their knowledge and earn an AWS Educate Certificate of Completion. The pathways include access to AWS services and over 30 hours of engaging resources.
Access cloud content, training, collaboration tools, a job board and AWS technology at no cost by joining AWS Educate today.
