IMAGINE: Nonprofits Using Tech for Good
Imagine: hundreds of nonprofit leaders in a room, sharing ideas and learning how to leverage the full power of cloud technology to advance their missions.
We’ve designed our AWS IMAGINE Nonprofit Conference to do just that. On August 13-14, 2019, AWS will hold its annual conference for nonprofit organizations.
The IMAGINE Nonprofit Conference is a two-day immersive experience held in Seattle near Amazon’s headquarters. Our conference brings together hundreds of nonprofit leaders from around the globe to strengthen our collective ability to address the world’s most pressing challenges.
It’s about discovering ways in which we can better the world, ourselves, and our organizations via the effective and thoughtful use of technology. Sessions will explore the latest advancements in tech, including artificial intelligence and machine learning; how to harness Amazon’s tools and culture of innovation; and aim to build new connections among a community of big thinkers.
Whether you work with nonprofits in a professional or volunteer capacity, serve as a board member, or are passionate about where tech meets social impact, we hope you will join us. Hear from nonprofits of all sizes and mission areas – from innovative, born-in-the-cloud nonprofit startups, to some of the most established and trusted organizations in the sector. Connect with organizations whose causes you believe in, and take your social-impact pursuit to the next level.
Last year, Dan Pallotta, author and humanitarian activist, challenged conventional thinking in his keynote about changing the nonprofit investment model – including how we should treat and perceive “overhead” costs. This year, the conference opens with Byron Hill, Global Head of Technology for the Movember Foundation, and features other speakers including AWS’s own Erika Balbuena, Head of Impact Computing, alongside Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
This two-day event is complimentary. Register now and help us spread the word on social media by retweeting from the @AWSNonprofits handle, or use hashtag #ImagineABetterWorld.
