It was standing room only at Startup Central, AWS Startup’s HQ at the AWS San Francisco Summit on April 4th. Hundreds of attendees stopped by the booth to chat with AWS Solutions Architects at the Startup Expert Bar and watch nearly a dozen startup talks led by expert CEOs, CTO, and lead engineers from leading startups in the region. Speakers from Segment, Gusto, and more covered everything from serverless, to AI, to ECS.

Next week, AWS is headed to NOLA! Digital currencies, unicorn building, artificial intelligence, and self-driving cars are just a few of the hot topics that will be covered at Collision 2018 and we are excited to be a part of the action.

AWS Startup Day is coming to AWS San Francisco Loft next week! On Wednesday, April 18th, over a dozen startup founders, entrepreneurs, technical specialists, and venture capitalists will be delivering a series of dynamic talks, panels, and learning sessions at AWS’s Loft space at 1446 Market St.

There is something of value for everyone at the AWS Summits, a free event series that brings the cloud computing community together. These events are intended to provide educational value to attendees of all skill levels and industry backgrounds and demonstrate how they can utilize AWS for designing, deploying, and eventually operating infrastructures and applications. The next AWS Summit is being held in San Francisco on April 4th, where CTO Werner Vogels and Dr. Matt Wood, GM of Artificial Intelligence, will be delivering the keynote.

Over 40,000 attendees from every corner of healthcare descended upon Las Vegas last week for the annual HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) Conference. Global Startup Evangelist Mackenzie Kosut took advantage of this massive event to talk to nine healthcare startups, weaving his way through the expo halls to chat with CEOs, CTOs, and heads of engineering for his Startups on Air video series.
