Introducing the ‘AWS Loft Rocks’ Concert Series
Our AWS Pop-up Lofts in New York and San Francisco are community spaces where you can hang out, co-work, attend technical sessions, network with other startups, meet 1:1 with AWS architects, and learn about the AWS cloud.
We’re excited to announce that you can now add rocking out to live music to the list of Loft activities!
In August we’re kicking off our AWS Loft Rocks Concert Series by hosting evenings of live music at both our San Francisco and New York Pop-up Lofts:
‘Loft Rocks’ Concert Series with Bohemian Guitars [San Francisco]
Don’t miss our Loft Rocks jam session at the AWS Pop-up Loft in San Francisco on August 12th! Grab a drink and enjoy some great music by one of our very own AWS customers, one of the founders from Bohemian Guitars, Adam Lee. The party starts at 7pm with cocktails, beer, wine and appetizers. Bohemian Guitars is a next generation guitar manufacturer and retail brand inspired by street musicians in Adam and Shaun Lee’s hometown of Johannesburg, South Africa. By using alternative materials, a lean manufacturing platform, and a vertically focused supply chain, Bohemian is providing the flexibility and personalization of “custom-made” with the low unit costs associated with mass production. We are simply making purchasing a guitar more personal, enjoyable and affordable.

‘Loft Rocks’ Concert Series with Controller [New York]
Join us for our first Loft Rocks concert at the AWS Pop-up Loft in New York on August 13th! Enjoy a drink and rock out to some upbeat music by a local NYC band, Controller. The party starts at 7pm with cocktails, beer, wine and appetizers. RSVP today.
Controller is an NYC-based five-piece that deals in melodic, high energy dance rock. The band’s output and intense performances, which have been compared to Bloc Party and the Killers by way of Black Sabbath, mixes screaming guitars, authoritative post-punk grooves and sticky hooks that get fans on their feet and singing along. Controller has been featured in top music reviews and listed as an MTV buzzworthy band.
